Old Christmas tree

Christmas Tree

Christmas tree glows
Tradition stands still
Baubles reflect
Memories at will

Tinsel entwines
Branches once bare
First festive season
Without parents there

My old pine tree
Salutes its last yule
Loved ones shimmer
Like sparkling jewels

Embellishing its essence
With fervent cheer
I fondly reminisce
All I hold dear.
